February Flora and Fauna Fest is an educational and informational festival that began in February of 2020. Their first event was held on the University of Florida campus outside of Steinmetz Hall. The festival is designed to provide fun and interactive activities associated with plants, insects, and nature. University of Florida student organizations represented at the festival are raising money for professional development trips and expenses. Some of the University of Florida, Doctor of Plant Medicine student organization funds will support the Dr. George Agrios Endowment Scholarship as well as professional development activities for interdisciplinary Doctor of Plant Medicine students.
